Can the deputy Mayor of New York (who lies nurturing a flesh wound, having just shot himself), his wife (who's nowhere to be found) and guests arriving (in mere moments) to the dinner party event of the season, count on his attorney (and faithful pal) to defeat confusion, miss-communication, mayhem and complete chaos among the flock of equally farcical guests? ...Nahhhhhh! This is funny stuff!

(And into your hearts) Don't be silly! Winner of 7 Tony Awards, when it comes to wickedly funny this is truly... Machiavellian!

Can one perfect suburban housewife (one part June Cleaver, one part Bree Hodge) find happiness each morning (in her HGTV kitchen) in a mix of banter & coffee with one pesky (Just moved in next door from Ubetcha, Texas) neighbor? Well.... when desperate housewife numero uno's husband is off with his secretary, You can bet that housewife numero dos (That would be give-em'-hell-Hannah) is gonna' save the day in a hysterical way!

Can there really be a play with more southern drawl and dysfunction than Steel Magnolia's, more twisted redneck humor than Greater Tuna and more family foppish foray than Escanaba In Da' Moonlight? (We doubt it, but this one here Sho-nuff gives it a heck of a shot!) When the head of the Turpin family drops dead at the corner of "mean & surly", the whole clan gets together to throw a bucolic, bible beatin', bombastic bash!
